Make it a point to take pictures of the tiles laying in your yard or ion your property, and if possible snap photos of the damages of the roof, including from up top – if possible and safe only.

A lot of people in these types of situations fear that the reporting and filing of a claim for such an incident is going to negatively impact their homeowner’s insurance premium.
